Fine 100% Egyptian Mako cotton vanisée dress socks

A true staple in every wardrobe, it’s considered one of the first fancy dress socks invented. Their main characteristic is the double tone present on the vertical reverse rib. This is definitely one of my favourite styles other than solid colours.

Made 100% from Egyptian mako cotton they can be worn all year round. Although they are extra thin, they are extremely durable thanks to the Mako cotton variety (long staple cotton yarn) and the process it has been subject to (gassed, mercerized and Fil d’Ecosse). Hand-linked and reinforced heel and toes further increase comfort and durability.

Stylish and Versatile

These socks are probably the most stylish timeless design you will own. They can be more formal or more casual depending on the colour combinations you choose, but generally they are all acceptable in all business environments and obviously perfectly fine for all other circumstance. Available also in navy/red or navy/blue, this grey/light grey version, can be worn in business and casual thanks to the muted contrast. Grey is a “non colour”, and offers you infinite outfit and pattern combinations in mid and light shades.

Care

We recommend hand washing. If you are not able to accommodate, a 30 degrees wash separately from other garments or in a washing bag is the best alternative. Avoid tumble drying. Using a shoe horn when putting on shoes and keeping your nails in order will also prevent unnecessary wear.
