Hi, my name is Mauro, founder of The Purple Seal.
The Purple Seal is an expression of my ambitions, my dreams to share with more and more of you the pleasure of wearing something made for you, by hand, by skilled artisans and craftswomen and craftsmen what they only can create: objects that carry a special story and that will last far longer than one season. Not only that, the pleasure of wearing something made with natural material, ethically, and the benefits that brings to your health and the health of the people behind the products.
It all started a few years back, when I was (relatively) young, and in search for dress socks to wear at my sister’s wedding. I couldn’t really find a pair that was exactly what I was looking for…so, I set to create some!
From there, my enthusiasm and the range grew, with more fabrics available and more accessories: silk ties, scarves, pocke squares. I want all my products to be exquisite, uncompromising, a real treat!
I took time to select specific colours, and blend them in simply spectacular harmony. There’s a bordeaux bowtie…with a purple hue shining through that deep red yarn.
Herringbone dress socks? Yes, but a micropattern, and we are arguably the first brand to make proper dress socks for ladies. The choice of colours is not casual: Olive green and Bordeaux red, is a favourite!
Every one of our accessories is meant to provide a tactile and emotional response: the texture of fine goat leather, the silky silver and gold lines, the purple reflections…not to mention the touch of natural fibres woven together, fine like a second skin for our socks, voluptuous in our ties.
Ultimately, my goal to make you feel good with these treats for the eyes and for the skin, that I know you’ll enjoy wearing for a long time.
IT GOES DEEPER THAN JUST A NICE LOOKING ACCESSORY
Our possessions should have our name on it, even if just figuratively, and stay with us as long as possible. We should want to keep them for as long as we can. I know that, If you’re here, is because we share the same vision.
We all have a chance to dress well when we choose to buy less but better, and wear it for longer.
